You’ll need to contact the World Wide Locator at Quantico at 703-784-3942.
Hours are from 8 am to 4pm Monday thru Friday.
Be prepared to provide a social security number for common last names.
Unit information is always helpful like Battalion and Company.
Is it former or ex Marine?
All Honorably Discharged Marines are properly called, known as A Former Marine, Ex marine is often, but not properly used. Many of us consider the only Ex are the Dishonorably Discharged and that they are no Longer deserving of the title Marine.
